 PCTI Engaged in Electronic Document Transmittal Pilots


PCTI have been heavily involved in EDT pilots over the past 12 months, successfully integrating hospital correspondence from several Hospital Trusts throughout the country.

There are various ways to get a Document from Hospital Secretary to GP Clinical System but essentially, the document is sent with embedded patient and document information. This means that not only is the practice saving vast amounts of post sorting and scanning time, the filing aspect is reduced to simply 'accept' since the document details normally manually entered, are completed automatically.

The latest versions of Docman and Workflow applications are 'EDT aware' and PCTI are now actively working with other trusts to provide these facilities to their practices.
