All Docman 7 updates are provided free to supported customers, all you need to do is download them and run them in on a lunchtime or when it is convenient to log users out of Docman.**
We strongly advise that your Docman 7 system is no more than 2 versions behind the current release version.

INPS VES / WES (Managed Server) Users **
INPS will run in updates for you, you do not need to do anything
INPS Lan Users
There have been some changes to allow for GP2GP and Integrated Choose and Book as well as Pocket Vision integration. It is advisable that you update ASAP if you are more than a couple of versions behind the current release version.
EMIS Users
Both the PCS and LV Api's have changed. For compatibility, changes to functionality has been left in EMIS but will be removed at some point. Therefore it is recommended that you upgrade to the latest version as soon as possible.
Users in Scotland
Arrangements are in place for practices in Ayrshire & Arran, Glasgow and Lothian Health Board Areas whereby updates are carried out on a scheduled basis out of hours by Microtech.
Manged Server or PCT Hosted Users
Please contact your hosting representative and organise for them to update your system for you.
Any user running version 71166 and below
Please call PCTI, Vision Docman or Microtech helpdesk as appropriate and you will be guided you through the upgrade process. If possible, a dial in session will be established and your software will be updated for you.
